Croydon Vineyards produces three distinct categories of wine to suit all wine lovers' pallets. Our winemaker created the Title Deed range, a range of easy drinking wines developed for your everyday enjoyment.
Croydon's Covenant range showcases superior wines from our single cultivars. These wines are created from the purest grapes of the season, and left to mature into a well-balanced and full-bodied wine.
The exclusive Portion Twenty is the pinnacle of our Estate's wines. This range, including Croydon's own Méthode Cap Classique, is where the Cellarmaster creates exclusive blends from the best wines of the vintage.
These flagship wines are the best our terroir can offer.
Our Title Deed White Blend is made with Chenin blanc and Chardonnay grapes, and exhibits floral aromas with apple and melon flavours, ending with an assertive crisp acidity.
Our Title Deed Rosé is our perfectly blended Pinotage and Cabernet Franc, stained to the perfect hue under the watchful eye of our Cellarmaster.
The primary flavours of Croydon's Rosé are flowers, citrus, and melon, with a pleasant crunchy green flavour on the finish.
2017 Rosé Rocks GOLD Award
Our Cape Blend is a well-balanced blend of Pinotage, Shiraz, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Malbec and Cabernet Franc. It creates a complex and elegant aroma of black currents with hints of cedar and cigar box.
Very rounded and full-bodied wine in the Cape Blend style. Finely textured velvet tannins and a long finish.
2017 GOLD Wine Award
Cabernet Sauvignon is a full-bodied red with dark fruit flavours and savory tastes from black pepper to bell pepper.
Our wine is a touch fruitier than Old World Cabernet Sauvignon, with flavours of Black Cherry, Licorice and Black Pepper all wrapped together with a dash of Vanilla. It has a little less tannin and acidity.
Our Pinotage grapes are extremely dark in color and the wine created is bold and high in tannin and anthocyanin.
Our Covenant Pinotage adds further layers of flavours other than fruit. You will also enjoy hints of rooibos, dried leaves, bacon, sweet and sour sauce, hoisin and sweet pipe tobacco.
Our Cellarmaster has created this hearty and spicy Shiraz, filled with aromas and flavours of wild blackcurrant.
This wine has overtones of black pepper spice and roasting meat, and the abundance of fruit sensations are complemented by warmth and gripping tannins.
2017 GOLD Vitis Vinifera Award
Our COVENANT range includes a Sauvignon Blanc (meaning “Wild White”), which is well balanced with flavours of lime, green apple, passion fruit and white peach. Croydon’s Sauvignon Blanc includes other herbaceous flavours like bell pepper, jalapeño, gooseberry and grass, originating from aromatic compounds called pyrazines and these are the secret to Croydon’s Sauvignon Blanc’s character.
Our Chenin Blanc has a versatile style and sweetness with adaptability to a variety of tastes. Our wine boasts tastes of yellow apples, passion fruit, and honeydew to give a well rounded fresh taste experience.
Croydon’s Chenin Blanc is well balanced not too sweet and slightly off-dry to give a range of flavours from ginger and jasmine to mango and mandarin orange.
This is a vintage we are proud to include in our superior COVENANT range.
Croydon's MCC (Méthode Cap Classique) is the South African version of classic champagne. MCC is made following the original, bottle-fermented process used traditionally. Every step of the process aside from the source of the grapes, follows the time-honoured process of champagne making.
The quality of our grapes coupled with the expertise of our Cellarmaster is such that our MCC rivals some of the best champagnes.
